The electric bass is one of my favorite instruments and is actually the first instrument I seriously learned to play. I really love just laying down the groove – there really isn’t much better in music – amen!

In my bass lessons you will learn: notes, scales, theory, proper technique, and how to construct/improvise bass lines from a chord chart. We can also work on any songs or tunes you’d like – some of my favorite bass lines come from the genres of rock, pop, funk, blues, soul, and r&b.

I live in the East Village, but travel to neighborhoods all over Manhattan. I can also provide a quote for travel to Brooklyn or Queens, provided it is subway accessible. Here are just some of the neighborhoods I travel to for my Bass Lessons:
